Summary: This presentation covers the experience encountered during the early part of the COVID 19 pandemic, the care provider turned care recipient. Included in this are the symptoms, hospital experience in relation to common nursing practices in the ICU and its impact to patient, recovery and Post COVID 19 life.
Speaker: Neil is 57 years old, Filipino, and has been a nurse for 31 years. He has worked mostly in the ICU, 15 years of that in Canada. He is married to a nurse, blessed with two sons 25 and 17 years old. He has worked in different countries like Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom and Canada.
