It has been a challenging year for all of us in critical care – however now more than ever is the time to share knowledge and experiences that have been garnered since entering this new world of healthcare in the context of COVID-19.
On September 24th, the B.C. Chapter of the Canadian Association of Critical Care Nurses will be hosting an online/on-site event. Multiple speakers through online teleconference from their home hospitals will part of this timely discussion.
- Event will be hosted from 1130 – 1330, perfect for bedside staff to lunch and learn.
- Satellite sites (soon to be released) will include meeting rooms in IHA, VCH, PHA, FHA, and VIHA.
- Wide Ranging discussions including a panel of health authority representatives from the bedside, the newest in proning practices, research on how critical care staff have coped with the pandemic, and also ways to support staff wellness.
- Interdisciplinary discussion featuring bedside nurses, educators, clinical specialists, physiotherapy, and spiritual care.
