On November 7, 2019 from 2pm to 4pm we will be hosting the 2019 Spring Innovation Roundtable. This is a conference where outstanding critical care nurses from around the province will gather to present exciting work and research that is happening in British Columbia.

Topic: Patient Stories Project Update
The Patient Stories Project (PSP) at Vancouver General Hospital (VGH) was created to help address burnout and cultivate a positive work environment by acknowledging nurse achievements in the critical care environment. The PSP gives patients an opportunity to share with the nurses and health care team their recovery and personal life accomplishments since hospital discharge.
Speaker Bio: Lara Gurney is a nurse educator at the Vancouver General Hospital (VGH) Emergency Room. Her previous positions included critical care outreach coordinator (CCOT) at VGH, and a British Columbia Institute of Technology clinical instructor for the critical care program; emergency and critical care specialty certificates.
